• Warm Up- Describe the purpose of rhetorical analysis using as much detail as you recall. Be prepared to share.

1. Partners review and annotate Hal and Bee's rhetorical analysis essays:
   • At least 2 comments per paragraph
   • Score each paragraph on rubric with justification
2. Fishbowl:
   • 12 students will be randomly chosen for fishbowl inner circle to discuss essays.
   • All students in outside circle will take notes on fishbowl discussion.

• Fishbowl reflection: Describe what you understand about rhetorical analysis after today's discussion

• Number your paper from 1-4.
• Describe all of the parts of a rhetorical precis; what is in the first sentence, second, third, and fourth?
